Notes
“We aren’t into fertility.
Are we talking about having lots of kids? Cuz, I am done having children.”
Darkness In the Last Days.
2 Timothy 3:1–5 (NKJV)
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
2 Timothy 3:5 NCV
5 and will act as if they serve God but will not have his power. Stay away from those people
Romans 1:28–32 (NLT)
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
Isaiah 5:20 NKJV
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Lest look back to the days of Elijah
Ahab became king over Israel;
Now Ahab did evil in the sight of the Lord, more than all who were before him.
To make matters worse he married a lady named Jezebel.
1 Kings 18:17–19 NKJV
Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, “Is that you, O troubler of Israel?”
18 And he answered, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the Lord and have followed the Baals. 19 Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
You might read about Baal and Asherah, in the Bible and think, “Geeze… What is wrong with the Israelites!
We know that Baal and Asherah were worshiped together.
– Baal’ also means master Owner or husband.
– Asherah was a pagan goddess of fertility which is a cleverly evil way to say that she was worshiped as a “sex goddess”
They were the fertility Gods-
“We aren’t into fertility.
Are we talking about having lots of kids? Cuz, I am done having children.”
Fertility meant lots of Power.
Fertility meant lots of Riches.
Fertility meant lots of Sex.
To make it in simple terms.
- Baal equalled money, power and sex.
You see. Money, Power, and Sex was the driving force for the men.
And Baal was the deliverer of them.
– Asherah equalled beauty and being sexy.
I found this description in Logos about Asherah…
“But what about that temptress Glamor? She is universally adored. Consider the billions of dollars spent to promote Glamor in the newspapers, magazines, billboards, and television commercials. A woman has to have the right shoes, clothes, makeup, perfume, jewels, and accessories. The reason shopping is America’s number one hobby is because Glamor is Queen.
Josephus the historian recorded that Balaam said to Balak
Put the Prettiest of daughters near the camps of the Israelites to draw them away from their customs laws and their God.
Think about all the things that are sacrificed at the alter of success, convenience and immorality?
The only thing that will wake up this lost world is the Fire!!!
In the last days I will pour out my Spirit!
What’s the solution to darkness?
Light
The outpouring of the Spirit is the answer to the problem of these last days!
In The Last Days Power – Fire
Remember they will call evil good!
Elijah- the God who answered by Fire.
1 Kings 18:23–24 (NKJV):
Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.”
So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”
26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made.
27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “
Cry louder
He’s meditating
On a trip
He is asleep
28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention.
Look at verse 37
37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”
One man with the fire of Heaven challenges the false
Religion of the day.
Having a form of Godliness but denying the power
Friends the world is Deceived
They are in bondage driven in these addictions
The world needs the fire!
Matthew 3:11 (NKJV)
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Acts 1:4–5 NKJV
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Acts 2:1–4 NKJV
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
