Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. 4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
God used a man to deliver a nation
The destiny of an entire nation was changed because one man who an encounter with the God of Fire!
There is significance to the burning bush.
It conveys the nature of God.
Ancient Israelites viewed God’s holiness as a consuming fire.
Deuteronomy 4:24 NKJV
For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
The word Holy really means to be:
– set apart
– unique
– pure.
Although a bush is highly flammable, this bush was not consumed by the flame.
The fire is God and
the bush is Israel.
God promised to dwell among the people of Israel in a special way, without consuming them.
He went with them as a cloud by day and a Fire by night!
How can you tell the silver is ready?
The profit of old came
Who is me I’m undone a man of unclean lips
The angel took a coal off the alter and touched his lips and immediately man had a conversation with God
It’s just like a fire shut up in my bones!
The Silversmith
A young man happened upon a silversmith who refined silver and gold from raw materials, sitting in front of his fire.
“Why do you heat the metal?” he asked?
The Refiner answered, “In order to make precious silver I have to remove all the impurities that make it worth less than it really is.”
“Why do you sit while you work?” inquired the visitor?
The Refiner replied, “I have to watch the fire closely. Too little heat and the impurities will not be removed; too much heat and the precious metal will be destroyed and made worthless.”
the young man asked The Refiner,
“How do you know when the silver is at the right temperature?”
The Refiner smiled and answered, “I know the purifying is complete when I can see my reflection in the silver.”
