The power of Expectation
There is a saying that goes “don’t expect anything, because then you won’t
be disappointed when it doesn’t happen.”
I say, don’t expect anything and you will be disappointed!”
Hebrews 11:1–2 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
Hope from elpizō – Verb
the meaning is really “in” as in 1 Peter 3:5 , “who hoped in God;” the
“hope” is thus said to be directed to, and to center in, a person;

It’s Alive
1 Peter 1:3 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to
His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Extreme Focus
2 Corinthians 4:17–18 NKJV
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a
far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not
look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.
For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are
not seen are eternal.
It’s Temporary
Look at that Mountain- it’s temporary
Romans 4:17–19 NKJV
as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations” in the
presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead
and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; 18 who,
contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of
many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your
descendants be.” 19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider
his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years
old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.
