passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC
17 Therefore if any person is ingrafted in Christ the Messiah he is a new
creation a new creature altogether; the old previous moral and spiritual
condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!
1. In Christ
Galatians 2:20–21 NKJV
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ
lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the
Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Romans 7:22–24 NKJV
For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I
see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my
members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this
body of death?
Contemporary English Version
What a miserable person I am. Who will rescue me from this body that is
doomed to die?
Good News Translation
What an unhappy man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is
taking me to death?
Romans 7:25 NKJV
I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I
myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 8:2–3 NKJV
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from
the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was
weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the
likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the
flesh,
Philippians 3:9–11 NKJV
and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from
the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness
which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of
His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed
to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from
the dead.
2. Walk by Faith
Hebrews 11:1–2 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
Hebrews 11:5–6 NKJV
By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was
not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he
had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is
impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that
He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
2 Thessalonians 3:5 NKJV
5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into
the patience of Christ.
