Proverbs 23:7 KJV
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…
Romans 12:2 KJV
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

John 10:10 AMPC
10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it [a]overflows).

If we really want more from God, that means there’s going to have to be less of us.
We have to strip our minds of worldly, fleshly thinking which is always changing and replace it with the Word of God that never changes.
1. The Unforgiveness Room
Luke 6:27-28 AMPC
27 But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you and pursue you with hatred, 28 Invoke blessings upon and pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God’s blessing (favor) upon those who abuse you [who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you].
Redecorate the unforgiveness room and make it the room where you choose to bless your enemies instead.
Start making plans to be good to people instead of plans to vindicate yourself.
1 Corinthians 13:7 AMPC
7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

1 Peter 2:22-23 AMPC
22 He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips. 23 When He was reviled and insulted, He did not revile or offer insult in return; [when] He was abused and suffered, He made no threats [of vengeance]; but he trusted [Himself and everything] to Him Who judges fairly.

In the natural, we use medicine to help with hurts and pains. Likewise, the word of God is medicine for mental and emotional wounds.
2. The Living in the Past Room
God is the Great I Am, not the great I was.
Isaiah 61:3 KJV
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;

The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
Naturally speaking, people keep the ashes of a cremated loved one in an urn in their living room because it reminds them of that person.
Spiritually speaking, we can’t keep the ashes of our past to remind us of the past.
God can never give us beauty if we don’t let go of our ashes.
God can never give us beauty if we don’t let go of our ashes.
Philippians 3:13 KJV
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended it, but this one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

The posture of a believer should never be looking back, but always looking unto him.
