Preparation Time
Sunday August 29, 2021

Notes
What kind of an end do you want?
What we do everyday will determine what kind of an end we will have.
Pay attention to what you do everyday with the end in mind.
We can’t live our life out of order and have the kind of results God has for us.
Part of order is preparing for what’s ahead.
Even if we are being faithful at the place we are today, we still have to save time everyday for what is ahead or we won’t qualify for where we are headed.
Lack of preparation will disqualify us.
We shouldn’t just be trying to get to the end of the day without preparing for where we are headed.
1. Value the time of preparation
Preparation time is never wasted time.
Ephesians 2:10 AMPC
10 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),
[a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those
good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us
[taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should
walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made
ready for us to live].
2. Value the place of preparation
Don’t treat the paths of God lightly. Anything connected with God is great
Psalm 84:10 AMPC
10 For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere
else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in
the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of
wickedness.
