Notes
John 1:14 NKJV
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
One of the aspects of grace is that it divinely enable us to live a Godly life in Christ. Grace empowers you.
Philippians 2:13 NKJV
for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Grace – The Unmerited undeserved unearned kindness and favor of God
1. Unmerited

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:4-5 ESV
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
2. Undeserved
Romans 3:23-24
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Grace: Greek Charis
3.Unearned
Romans 11:6 NKJV
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
- If it’s Free it’s not earned.
- If it’s earned it’s not free.
- It’s one or the other.
1 John 1:9 NKJV
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
