Notes
We are a big-thinking, impossible-believing church that moves in step with the Spirit. We will never insult God with small thinking and limited living. We believe that Gods Word is perfect and unlimited and all things are possible for us who believe.
Mark 11:22 NKJV
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
1. More Than Enough
Genesis 17:1–2 NKJV
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. 2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
El Shaddai is one of seven covenant names through which God revealed Himself to Israel.
El Shaddai – God Almighty; the all-sufficient one, (the God who knows what He is doing and how to do it.) “The God Who is more than enough.”
Joshua 10:13 NKJV
So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.
God stopped the entire universe because a man prayed! God can do that because He is the Almighty God—the All-Sufficient One—the God Who is more than enough!
2. He Has Not Changed
So often we want to relegate everything to the past. We say, “Oh, it was wonderful way back when. God could do mighty things back in those days.”
Hebrews 13:7-8 BSB
Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 1:10–12 NKJV
You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. 11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; 12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Psalm 91:1–16 NKJV
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
