Notes
Matthew 25:33–35 NKJV
And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will
say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
1. Repent
Matthew 4:16–17 NKJV
The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Repent means change
To change the way you’ve been trained to think. To change your mind, to change your mentality.
Romans 12:2 NKJV
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Just because one is a Christian doesn’t mean they are operating in the kingdom. You can be born again and still hate your neighbor.
Malachi 3:6–7 NKJV
For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. 7 Yet from the days of your fathers You have gone away from My ordinances (ordinary – this is a normal way of living) And have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But you said, ‘In what way shall we return?’
2. The Prefixes of God
A prefix is a word, letter, or number placed before another – an element placed at the beginning of a word to adjust or qualify its meaning.
A Prefix is a stem that you add to a Word to change the meaning of it.
Gods number one Prefix is RE
*Re = to go back*, to return to the original state or position.
Every time you see a word that starts with a RE it’s talking about going backwards. To go back to the original position or state.
This is a key to understanding Gods mind and purpose for the Kingdom of God
- Re-turn
- Re-pent
- Re-vibe
- Re-concile
- Re-cieve
- Re-compense
- Re-deem
- Re-cover
- Re-birth
- Re-new
- Re-store
- Re-joice
- Re-ward
Matthew 6:9–10 NKJV
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Return: come back to where you used to be
Restore: you will get back what you lost.
Receive: get back what you had. You used to have the Holy Spirit you lost Him that is why Christ said Receive the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Re-deem you – deem means to own. Redeem means to own it twice. Jesus paid the price for you to own you again. This is redemption, your father got your back.
Re-cover – the word cover- to protect I.e insurance if it lost it’s coverage it’s lost…
Re-new – Be transformed not by getting a new mind… the Renewing of your mind = go back and get my original way of thinking. Before the fall.
Isaiah 40:29–31 NKJV
He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Re-compense – compensation to pay a person what you owe them. Recompense means to pay you for what they took from you a long time ago. Everything that the devil stole from you, God is going to give it back to you.
Rejoice – joice means to jump. Rejoice means to keep jumping back keep jumping back. He gave you your dance back. He gave your celebration back.
So Jesus was sent here to restore the kingdom of God, to put it back in its original position.
Galatians 3:13–14 NKJV
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Redeem – deem means to own something. Redeem means to own it twice.
Receive get back what you had. You now have the blessing because you have the Holy
Spirit
